Deb Kalika Choudhury Charity & Development Center (DKCCDC) founded by Dr.Deb Prasanna Choudhury is involved in changing lives of the underprivileged and poor of the society for the better.

Poushali Munshi (below) is a student at the Purnima Knowledge Center of DKCCDC for the past many years. She is a mentally challenged and handicapped student with below par intellectual ability when she took admission. She was also a loner and suffered from depression. But recently, Poushali successfully completed Secondary (Madhyamik) board examination. She is now a vibrant, full of life and ambitious girl with high self esteem. This transformation and change has taken place due to dedicated teaching, love and transformation processes and techniques applied by Dr.Choudhury at DKCCDC. Through the vocational training Poushali is undertaking at DKCCDC she will soon become an economically independent woman.

There are other students at DKCCDC similar to Poushali who have been transformed and who are eager to take responsibility for themselves and the society at large.
